The great thing about Gardenscapes is that the in-game currency is really easy to get. But if a square is empty because there is a chokepoint further up you can totally make a move into it. But it’s true! as long as a square can potentially have something in it you can make a move into it. I know that it’s super counterintuitive to make moves into empty squares. If I’m not being super impatient sometimes I’ll just keep backing out of a level until I get a loadout that lets me make a bomb or better on the first move. You can back out of the level and come back for a hopefully better loadout. For example, if you open up a level and it’s a really bad loadout where you know that you’ll run out of moves really soon. This is really useful since the levels are randomly generated each time. You can back out of levels if you haven’t made any moves yet.
